About Sue

Sue provides expert advice and services in international trade, the global trade regulatory and policy environment, corporate compliance, and engagement with key regulators and policy makers to achieve business results.

Sue’s 30+ years of experience span industry, government, and the military.

Sue was previously Vice President of The Boeing Company’s global trade controls organization, where she led a 280-person team responsible for enabling enterprise business and ensuring compliance with worldwide export, import, and sanctions regulations.

Before joining Boeing, Sue was the Director of Defense Trade Controls Compliance in the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). In this capacity, she led all aspects of civil enforcement of the Arms Export Control Act and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (AECA/ITAR).

Sue has extensive experience in U.S. Department of Defense agencies responsible for export control, technology security, foreign military sales, security cooperation, and international affairs (DSCA, DTSA, SAF/IA, Joint Staff).

Sue is also a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Raised in the NY/NJ metro region, Sue’s based in the Washington DC area. She has also lived in the UK, Germany, Egypt, Kuwait, and Oman.
